About KEM-TRON

KEM-TRON was established in 1990 by a group of professionals with backgrounds in both chemical and mechanical solid separation.  We started by solving some very unique environmental problems and have pioneered the field of zero liquid discharge / closed loop mud systems with our industry leading Dewatering Systems.  With equipment in over 30 countries around the world we continue to expand into new markets.

 

KEM-TRON was the first company, in 1994, to receive the coveted ISO 9001 certification for the design and manufacture of solids control equipment and dewatering technology.

 

In 1998 we received patents for our Multifunctional Linear Motion Shaker/Mud Cleaner that allows for simultaneous operation of flow line and hydrocyclone underflow cleaning.  This unit has allowed us to make some of the most compact, yet user-friendly, mobile mud systems on the market.

 

More recently, KEM-TRON has introduced a Jet Shearing and Mixing System that allows for instantaneous fluid additive addition, reducing chemical costs and downtime on the rigs.  National & Independent Oil Companies around the world have implemented this system on their drilling rigs after seeing the tremendous economic benefits it has brought.

 

In 2004 we received patents on our new Vacuum Degasser, which has more leaf area on its corrugated fiberglass plates than any other unit on the market as well as the most efficient gas separation.

 

We are proud to manufacture all of our equipment at our 250,000 sq. ft.  facilities in Stafford (Houston),Texas USA, which also includes a state of the art screen production shop.

 

To support the large amount of KEM-TRON equipment currently running in Russia and the former Soviet Republics, we have set up a service and maintenance center in Noyabrsk, Siberia to better and more efficiently meet the needs of our clients.  This is in addition to the sales office that has been in operation in Moscow since 1991.
